I'm running an McXpress 260 kit on an 07 Apex with head shim. How much boost can I run on av gas? Do I need to re-clutch?
(new to this 4 stroke thing) :D

LOL, where did you see anything about mixing ?

I ran/run 17lbs w/MCX w/head shim AV 100LL.

I dont know what you have for clutching but if your runnin 12 to 14 lbs now and 10,000 to 10,500 RPM you will have to add weight. Dalton dpyr 70's or 74's w/ yamaha 17.2MM/4.5gr rivets. 51 straight cut helix.

Thanks guys. I'll have to see what Nick did for clutching. Bought the sled a month ago. Haven't even ridden it yet!:(
Casey did you get your Nytro together yet? Any pics?

If Nick clutched it, it will have Yami 8BU-00's w/ the 17.2mm riv's. Awesome clutching for 12 and 14 lbs, if your wanting to run 17/18 lbs you will have to add weight's. Like i mentioned before, the Dalton dpyr's are a very similar profile to the 8BU's (you already have). These 4 bangers are very sensitive to the profile of the weights, above are the 2 best set ups ive found for 12 and 17 lbs.

Cheers
