Although we have had excellent durability with our normal braided flex jointed equipped headers, we have moved to a bellows style flex joint. The reason is this style joint is specifically designed for the heat and pressure that a turbo system will exert on the pre turbo exhaust. They are also used on many European turbocharged cars use when some flexibility is needed in the exhaust system before the turbocharger. For normally aspirated sleds, the flex joint does not make a difference, but for high boosted turbos, this is the best possible design.
