Ok, here it is. Very simple to do and it works great. Quick release, absorbs shock and saves the arms on the climbs.
What you will need:
-30-35' of 8mm or 9mm cord.
-2 carabiners.
-26" mountain bike inner tube. If you're bigger, you may need a 29" tube.
-Ski-Doo Summit XM. The ultimate tow sled. Most reliable, powerful mountain sled and it doesn't eat belts!
How it works:
-Put inner tube around your waist (doubled over) and attach with carabiner.
-Line from sled goes through carabiner on waist and then through the next carabiner (setting up a 3:1 system).
-Hold on to the end of the rope and you're ready to go. Don't wrap around your hand, must be able to release.
-To release, let go of rope.
The rider on the left has the system, much easier than what the guy on right is experiencing. Photo from Vagabond Ranch, Colorado.
