Yes..and I am a fan of low gearing! Just like the '12 X's, the XM 163's are coming 19/51, I liked 21/51....154's are coming 19/49 and I also went with a 21.
We have been gearing them DOWN from stock since the '08's but IMO Doo jumped over the sweet spot on gearing for the TRA with a big track.
I found this pulled harder, easier on fuel (like that matters, but it's a bonus) and helped keep RPM more consistant....gearing TOO low will allow the clutches to "hunt" as they are not seeing as much load. I still never had any belt issues. JMO.

We geared up many 12's (identical clutching and gearing as XM), along with our helix cut and different springs. I preferred this to stock but will be experimenting on my 13 to be sure its effective or needs some tweeking.

This is going to be interesting if gearing up helps. I always gear sleds down, but the xm does not feel like it is geared at 19-49 which is lower then i would have geared it.:face-icon-small-sho:face-icon-small-con

So far on the flat I find mine takes too long to upshift but I will put some time on it before I start playing with it.

Have you been out on your new xm yet
to compare your clutching to the stock clutching yet. Thanks
