what do you guys think the rear suspension upper cross shafts are made of? are they moly, steel, sometimes i think they strip out like aluminum?

i was just going to build spacers for my new wider tunnel but i think it would be best to make a new cross shaft instead, then build spacers that ride on the new 17 wide shaft

In the past, there were manufacturer printing on the shafts. That should help someone ID the material. I would go with longer shafts, that is a bad place to have spacers.

right, and even the extra hassle of trying to heep the spacers in line on assembly being an extra headache.
