that intake is in a bad spot, its sucking up all the belt dust and when you blow the belt its gunna be a catastrophe

That filter will keep out the belt dust,it's an automotive filter.
I may move it out side the hood.
If the belt takes out the guard and the filter I may have a little problem.:face-icon-small-sho

That's a really nice build! I have always wanted to do a turbo 4 stroke into my rev! I'm a pretty big geek when it comes to these types of builds!

I'm curious what the weight is too... Really nice build btw. Have kicked around the idea of doing this myself but just thought it would be too much money.

I don't think your intake will be a problem. Usually when you blow a belt you shut the motor off right away anyways so doubt it'll be a problem.

If you are worried about it I would just keep running it back to where the vent by your knees is at.

update

Put some miles on this sled.
It is heavy, about 600lbs RTR,but the more I ride it, the less I like my 2 stroke.
This thing on race gas and turned up to 280 on the BD hauls a$$.
Today it was running 22lbs boost, 8300rpm, 75mph in the deep and steep.
It hard to believe somthing so heavy can climb so fast and pull the skis way out of the snow.

I have added.
Ice Age rails
Cold air intake and a small fan on the innercooler to keep the intake air cooler.

just curious with all that time and money into it and still using the tiny stock intercooler?

I was told that the stock cooler is good for the stock turbo and the max BD setting.
If I upgrade the turbo and the engine I will need a bigger cooler forsure.
