Took a 121" by 16" track.
Bought an abrasive masonry blade for skilsaw.Got
Small piece of wood that will fit just inside of track nubs to keep skilsaw straight. Screwed it to skilsaw at proper offset.Cut each side.Believe its 12-1/4" (barely fits.)
Respirator a must!
Swapped out for 2.52 drivers from bravo or ovation. (Sumac Motorsports) has a good article in this section on the drivers with part numbers. They are square shaft to match up to snoscoots. I also used these drivers to longtrack an Enticer a while back.
Rails, rear wheels and tensioners and couple shafts from skidoo freestyle rear skid.
Added longer rear shock from old dirt bike i had lying around.
Had to mount wheels etc to inside of rails.

The Sports rock with a decent track & skis.

Just waiting on new 121" x 12.25" x 1.75" track for a Sport mod!!!!! Plastic skis and skinz air frame type boards plus a wrap to be done as well ... maybe a better set of shocks too.

Anyone wanting to do this swap had better move fast as Kimpex has discontinued the 2.52" drivers for the square shaft ..... I just ordered two sets from Al's ... couldn't get them from Royal / Yamaha dealer anymore ... once you have the drivers & track and a set of doner rails its a pretty straight forward mod with great results .... kids can go just about anywhere on it now.

Are the windows the same width apart on a Scoot track and a stock 121? For some reason, I thought the Scoot was narrower and that has had me baffled.

Scoot's windows are narrower than a "normal" 121 track, if you convert to a 121 track use the rails from a 121 setup. The stock suspension can be used you just need to make brackets to attached the stock suspension to the wider rails. Hope this helps.

While its torn apart advise to stretch it! Amazing where the 125cc Sport can go with a decent track and plastic skis! Have one stretched to 108" with 1.25" lug and another with a 121" x 12.5" x 1.33" track .... rarely gets stuck even in 2' of powder!

This one is a scoot so only 80-85cc's.

We put plastic ski skins on it a number of years ago so that part helps. I am debating about the long track idea, but I don't have one with more than the 1/2" lug height. I'm hoping that a 12" wide track with the 1/2" lug should help a bunch over stock. Still debating on length.
