There is a non turbo'd 1100cc 4 stroke available that produces less power than the 800 2 stroke. In fact to quote the AC website "1100 cc 4 stroke that has 600 cc 2 stroke class power".

And before you ask for the reason why.........emissions standards, that's why.

My take on this is that the 600's will appear in competition trims only - with snocross or terrain racing leanings. One would think that Arctic Cat would supply the required sled count to satisfy the ISR requirements for a "stock" racer. I do not believe that the 1100 fs qualifies for "stock" class status with the ISR.

What needs to be seen however is what sled Arctic Cat believes the young ones will move up to after they outgrow the 120. A 570/500 version of the new chassis in crossover and powder trims is probably in the works.
