fuel pump

Wanting to put after market fuel pump on my 1200 wondering if i can us a pick up off of a 1000 sdi or off the 800 etec if i put grommet in the tank and hook up?This will save some trial and error and money is someone has done this.

what we have done is. take the stock fuel pump out and all the hose then. order some of our fuel pick ups and you can use the stock tank and whetever pump you want to use. our pick ups are self priming and hold the prime.
