Trying to get back into sledding after years being out. I had a couple old skidoo's back in the day but I'm shopping for some newer ones.

Anyone have advice for me?

I'm looking for a deep powder sled, lots of back country time.
My wife needs something that is more trail friendly. But at the same time I still want it to be capable out in the powder if one of my friends want to ride.

Any tips? We live in Denver and I've ridden all over Winter Park and rode a lot in Leadville.

I'm trying to keep the purchase of both sleds to around 4-5k if that helps. I've been looking at a 2000 RMK 700 with a 156 track. He's asking 2k for it. Does this sound like a good fit for me?

Thanks a lot and if this should be somewhere else let me know.

Jason, I'm a Cat man so can't speak to the older Polaris and SkiDoos. You might want to move this to General Snowmobiling forum. It will get a lot more readership there. And welcome back to snowmobiling!
