yes it's a 2.86 pitch, exact same track as 09-10 polaris sleds. so if you want to run a 3.0 track you'll have to change drivers.
I wish everyone would just switch to the 3.0. It's a pain in the butt that they have to be different.

This might be a stupid question but does the 11 rmk come with anti-ratchets?

Nevermind, I found MH's post in another thread. Combo drivers.....Nice.

The lower the pitch number the more lugs possible per track rotation.

Thats why some of the 2.52 pitch tracks have been proven performers.

The 2007 5.0 2.4" track not that good.

2008 to present 2011 track 2.86 pitch 2.4" is a good track.

Camo ext 2.5" very good track!

camo ext 2.5" = 3.0 pitch = very good track
the 5.1 is a great track in the soft snow, just too soft for any kind of harder snow. Agreed, good track.
Just wish everyone would go to the same pitch, 3.0

well.....lets say you hav 5 foot rails.

60"/2.52"= 23.8 or 24 lugs.

60"/2.86"= 20.97 or 21 lugs

60"/3"= 20 lugs

i would say not much diff compared to a 3.0 pitch and a 2.86 pitch but a big difference between the 2.52 to a 3.0 pitch......

So which way to go
2.86 or 3.00 pitch
if one were to put on a 2.5" camo
on the Pro RMK
I would be installing Avid drivers
on either 2.86" or 3.00" pitch track

Well since the New Pro RMK comes with a 2.86" pitch.... Just choose a track with the same pitch, then you will not have to change your drivers.
