No gauges, back up alarm or headlight.

My friend has a 98 grand touring 700, crossing a lake and he lost his gauges, back up alarm and headlight...I checked all the connections moved wires around, but could not find anything. Could it be voltage regulator or stator...Anyone ever experience this?

How about handwarmers and tail light?

If those are still OK - keep looking for connections.

You DID check the one at the hood/belly pan joint?

I hope you aren't holding your breath for that powder?

no tail light and not sure about hand warmers. I disconected the harness at the hood, all connections looked good, still had contact jelly in the terminals.
