i have a 2009 phazer 500.it is great for playing around in deep powder. it has a little less power than i would like. but ather than that it is a great sled to have when you want to play in the powder.

I rode a demo phaser a couple years ago, and it was a fun little sled. I'm thinking about getting one for my wife to cruise around on in the future.
Its hard to imagine how far we've come....20 years ago the mountain sleds only had 136" tracks on them. haha

The Phazer feels a bit underpowered with the stock skid and track, the steep approach angle robs it all its power.
If you go to a 151 inch track and cut it to 14 wide and just set the suspension back by 3.5" it turns in to a deep snow blaster. No change to suspension tunnel or gearing needed. I have even done one with a 162 it will boon-dock with the Nytros in 3 to 4 feet of pow no problem.
