I was in Cooke all last week riding my IQR mountain for the first time. On the trail I could turn 8200-8300 RPM but when I was climbing I could only turn 7500rpm. I am pretty sure that it is my secondary slipping as it was EXTREMELY hot. I just don't know what to change in it. Here is my setup:
800 Non-ves, CPI single pipe, POD filters, 144 track
Primary- almond/Red, 51.5 gram weights
Secondary- 66.44.46 with black/red spring
Gearing - 21-45
In the secondary you can see where the belt was slipping as it left some black marks on the inside of the clutch.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
