600 Triple question??

I don't know much about engines, opened my first one up last year. Middle cylinder is dead and has turned flat grey inside? Any insight or ideas would be appreciated. Its a formula 3 600 skidoo. Thanks!!

my guess would be a lack of oil in that cylinder, check the oil pump and make sure its working properly

Yes, lack of oil it was, melted the piston. Gonna replace piston and jug and turn it into a premix sled.
