94 Zr700 Skid Swap

Building a sled this year since my Yamaha seems to wanna be a P.O.S. and just wondering how hard it would be to take the skid from a 570 exciter, it's a 136, and put it into my old Zr700. Hoping to get a little bit more traction out of the beast so i'll be able to follow dad around in the mountains.

Definately possible, but seems to me that it would be a bit of a waste if your just wanting to stretch it to a 136. I'd spend a few hundred on a newer 136-144 suspension from a 2000+ machine. You'll not only notice a major difference in trailability, but lighter and better off trail capability.
