2003 summit 800 highmark ho no spark with the head light plugged in. When we unplug the head light instant spark and runs fine after head light is plugged back in. Until shut off then have to repeat the startup process. Stator has been replaced, kill switch replaced cuz it would not shut off instantly, any ideas? thanks for the help

im not a 100 percent sure but sounds like your voltave regulator could be messed up.

do you know of anyway to test the voltage regulator without buying a new one?

Found the problem it was in the relay bolted to the right foot rest under the hood.
