If can still get one get a Bender 800 kit. I know they dont have them listed on thier website anymore but try calling them and inquire. The 800 big bore Yamahas rock in the backcountry. A comparably set up twin 800 has no chance against them.
Also Simons CPR has a big bore kit. Not sure if theirs is an 800 or 760 or what it is exactly.

835 is based off the SRX bottom end or the Viper bottom end. (Those are fun motors when they are set up) If you are looking for a motor based off an SX then there are a few options. Like suggested above Bender and CPR have kits but don't count SLP. I'm currently running one in a MTN Max and it runs very well. The reliability is also of what a stock motor would give you. I'm also running bender pipes with it. Great little motor and still brings me smiles.:p

I don't think you can put the 835 on the 700 unless its the viper motor, but I had the835 done lightened and clutched an my buddies rx1 turbo could only go by me at 80 mph. DAMN fun sled looking to go back to one....terry

Hauck Performance

Just got back from Cooke City, rode for 4 days, two 01 mm with Hauck custom 760's. After getting them clutched, jetted and set-up, they seemed to be a big step up from last years set up which was running pipes, thin head gasket mod, air box mod, peak head, light porting. Motors didn't have any trouble spinning 162 pc's. I was suprised how cool these motors run during climbs running mostly full throttle. Next time out I am going to lean it down 1 more size.
Motors are nothing like turbo 4 stroke power though so hopefully your not expecting too much, the t-apex put on a clinic for everybody to see big hp.
Nothing sounds like a piped yamaha triple running 9000 up a mountain.
760 kits are reasonable as far as bb prices go, but not the most hp out there. Might be a reason why they are good reliable hp motor.
