2001 Jet Question

On my 2001 800 RMK I am changing the main jets. In my carb, there are copper/brass washers inbetween the main jet and the carb housing where they screw in. In all of the parts fisches I've looked at, it does not show these washers. Are they suppose to be there or are the jets suppose to just screw in flush with the aluminum housing? Anyone know?

Have you taken the carbs apart to see if the washer are in the bowls
