Carb/jack shaft clearance

Does V-force make a set of boots that give more clearance between carbs and the jack shaft? My reeds are for a 04 600 ho rev chassis and my jack shaft shows evidence of contact

Has anyone one tried the boots from the 99-03 zx platfrom 600 ho? the valves are the same from what i've been told. I don't want to run zip ties on the carbs and filters for another season. Do the boyensson rad valves fit better?

I have seen that my cables have just touched a little on the jackshaft with the stock reeds. You can zip tie the carb cross shaft to the plastic holder so they don't jump around.

i did get a customer a set of boysen rage cages but not sure how they fit form originals.

Every hawk Ive seen has had issues with carb/jackshaft clearance. Vforce reeds make it worse in my experience.

I have the same problem. I have Zip tied the carb to the cross brace to hold it back a little, seems to be fine. I have not worried about it since.

Your new Jackshaft will have some added clearance for the carbs.

Yep the sledr2 jackshaft made my motor swap a breeze. really helped on moving the steering stem forward..
