09 m8 secondary Question?

I read somewhere that to change the belt on the m8's you just pop the middle peice out and reverse it and tighten in back up and it loosens the belt, I tried it and it worked great....Now I cant get the middle peice to go back in? I'm confused on what to do? I'm retarded when it comes to the clutches on these things

Pull the belt out of the sheaves so that it is riding as far up the sheaves as possible. I think thats all you need.

If I take the secondary off I can get it in, but with the belt on the secondary it cant squeeze in, the belt gets in the way.....there has to be an easier way to change the belt on these things

your belt is an inch into your sheaves. work the belt out of the sheaves to allow them to close.

K I just got lazy and took the secondary off and pulled the belt off and it closed then I put everything back together

This is my first cat comming of poo, I haven't even had to change a belt yet but I already miss my team secondary. I think next year im going to put a p85 on it.

Or lift the rear of the sled up and turn the track. It will walk right up.
