I am going with a 174 and wondering if I should go for the 3 or 2.5 track. And need to extend my ezryde out from a 162. Can I find a extention or will that make it wheelie with a extention on it? Thanks for any help

I heard the EZ ride doesn't do well out at 174. You might want to talk to some people who have an EZ 174.
The 162 and 174 skid were redone for 08-09. I have the 174 and love it.

I extended mine with straight rails and it works well on the apex. I could not make it work on the nytro however.
Impulse guys swear by the 3" track. I run the 2.5 and think it is plenty. If you go 3" you will loose noticeable track speed but probably not much actual ground speed
