Who all has ran an slp head on there xp's............what head did you do, what elevation do you ride, and how well did it work.

we have the 6000 to 8000 head on 5 sleds and they work good- we ride at 7000 to 10500-we also run the slp single pipe

Just put a 6000-8000ft slp head on my 08, thinking about heading to Mountains and doing a little road riding...I'll keep you guys informed

I have the slp pipe and head. 6-8000' head. ride 6-8000' usually.
stock xp feels like a slow, no throttle responce, piece of crap.
it will outclimb a stocker up a steep hill in the deep, but it is not a huge difference. On and off the gas playing around it is a huge difference though.
runing 490 mains.
