My buddy is looking to buy a 700 for his first sled and we found a beautiful one close but it is an 01 so we are wondering if this is like my 03 800 or is it a different setup?
What Year did the 700 RMK come in the EDGE Chassis

I was thinking 02 was 1st year in Edge chassis.
The 01 is a different chassis than the edge.

The RMK was first made in the Edge Chassis in 2002. Before that it was a Gen 2 Chassis sled. However the first Edge chassis sled came out as a mid release in 2000 as a 600 XC SP.
if its a sks or a rmk 01 is a gen2 02 was the 1st for the edge rmk or sks

2x but the gen 2 is a good sled also

True the 01 Gen II is a good sled but there are some major differences from the Edge. In a stock sled the main ones are less HP because it lacks exhaust valves and less suspension travel.
