Columbine Access (North Routt) 30-day comment period

Went to the meeting on Saturday. None of the proposals are ideal, the Forest Service has the best plan (except for the non-motorized area around Hahns peak).

Please take the time to comment. If you don't have time to read everything. Just say in your comments that you want the USFS proposal WITHOUT the Non-Motorized area in and around Hahns Peak, and that you are against any fee's for parking whether it's at the new parking lot, or any other place to access public land.

For those that do nothing, don't let me hear you whine and complain when you pull your truck and trailer into the parking lot and see that you have to pay $5 to park, and then find out that you can't ride the deep powder bowls on Hahns Peak.

Please get the word out, and take action to protect our riding area's

Zoomie,

Are you by chance a SAWS member? If so, could I ask you to put together a SAWS Alert for this issue. If not a SAWS member, then I guess you should contact the organizations and clubs that you are a member of, and ask them to send something out.
