Peelin Chrome

Hey guys has anyone ever peeled chrome off the rockerpanels?? (At least i think thats wat there called lol the bottom of the doors?) Anyways i just picked up a new truck, 07 dodge, with the chrome running full length, im not a fan of chrome an would like to peel that junk.
Can it be done with out wreckin the paint?

those will be a b!tch.. you can do it though without harming the paint.

get some strong fishing line, and basically saw up and down through the adhesive. once you have sawed the piece completely off, I strongly suggest you get a 3M eraser wheel (hooks onto your drill and gets rid of adhesive) to get rid of the left over adhesive on the door. if you cant get one of those get some 3M adhesive remover at walmart and soak the hell out of it, get a heat gun and warm it up, and get a plastic razor blade and gently start scraping the glue off.

anyone use a heat gun an peel with heat? or heat then use fishin line?
