I am trying to find out the actual weight of my truck. Does anyone know of any websites that I can find that or maybe someone knows the weight. It is a 1989 Chevy K1500 reg. cab, shortbox, V8. Thanks!

maybe a chevy dealership could tell ya? I had a 96 chevy 1/2 ton longbox and I believe that it weighs about 4300lbs, at least as far as i can remember it did

My last truck that i owned was a 89 chevy 1500 4x4 reg cab short box with a 5 speed

Run to a certified scale, scrap yard, truck stop, racing shops usually have them, port of entries might let you roll over one (not sure they go that low?).
Otherwise I would guess around 4-5K minus all the rust you lost over the years
It should be right around 4,700-4,800 pounds if it is a 4WD ...
