Well rode Silver Lake area on saturday. Nice riding, but very icy and slim coverage in some areas. Very long drive from south shore resorts, but good day overall. Sorry King I missed you. Too much fun in the casino friday night.
Sunday we rode Hope Valley. I have been told this area sucks ? All out of bounds? Lets put it this way, I rode 5 miles on a perfectly smooth groomed highway then looked west at some of the biggest looking hills I have seen in a while. It took about 10 minutes from the groomed trail to be at the base of these hills. Once there my buddy and I rode for about 4 hours non-stop and climbed some of the most picture perfect chutes that were un-touched. We even found some powder in the shady north facing slopes. (Rare for april) Best of all it was "In bounds" Is this area a big secret? If so shhhhhhh. Caus it was very nice. Lots of parking and some awesome area if anyone ever decides to shoot some footy
We put on about 40 miles and were never 20 minutes from the truck. No thats my kinda riding....:beer;:beer;
