We are heading up to Munising for the weekend since they got a ton of snow. Any advice on where to ride? We are looking for off trail areas. Are they snowmobiler friendly in the area? Thanks for any input.
Biggest area for off-trail riding is NE of Munising up towards Melstrand and Kingston Plains area. But there is snow everywhere, so you may not need to travel that far. Yes, Munising is a VERY snowmobile friendly town.
I was there at the Comfort Inn from wed-sun of last week and the snow never shut off. We had great snow conditions and were able to do some nice off trail stuff up on the plains towards Grand Marais. Hope you have a good one.
