There are a few guys in Winnemucca that are thinking of coming down to ride the Tohoe area and we are wondering what the snow is like around castle and lola is it melting fast or is there still good coverage up high if not we are going to McCall instead thanks in advance

Rode yesterday (Monday) in castle area......approximately 1' to 3' of coverage, depending on exposure. 50+ degrees, creeks running, lakes very dangerous, sloppy. Sorry I can't be more positive but it doesn't look good to me. You can get around, but speed and obstacles usually don't mix well.

hit the slide man.... our H has dominated too long.... much better in Idaho, Yuba Gold and the likes were not much better.... wouldn't waste the coin on the little we have here, ditto CreteRider
