Hi Folks

here is my first report of my D8 2008 with BD turbo,

I have 280 miles and after small troubles, broken pipe and RPM wire cut i am very happy with my sled.

Max. speed i got is 86mph and max. RPM are 10550

Best handling and working for me is with 6psi.

155" is a bit to long for cool wheelies but it works.

Only thing i really hate on my sled is "its F**** loud" and its so loud i can not ride it near hotels and houses.

You have some problems if you are turning that engine at 10550 I don't even think the Rev limiter will let us go that high.

I do know the Dragons at 8500 really start to fall off the power band.

They are a touch loud but nothing like the kits that have the pipe going out the side panel so hopefully we can get a muffler kit for the guys wanting to be unnoticed in the noise department.

If that motor spins more rpm than my Apex (and is still in one piece), I'm veeeeery impressed!!

Maybe when your tach wire was cut something went haywire. If it is spinning 10500, you better order a rebuild kit right now for when it does blow.

Operating RPM should be around stock, at 6 psi on a pump gas should turn about 7950 to 8000 as you increase boost you RPMs should also slightly increase by 8 lbs usualy see about 8200-8300 over 8300 often i would add a little more weight. Also Boondocker just released a small ceramic coated muffler kit it gives the sled a deeper tone and def. quieter than stock Boondocker outlet

Some people should stick to stock sleds, even a stocker can pull a "cool wheelie" if you go over the right kind of burm...;)

Hmmm. Dont look good. Better add some weight to the clutch.;)
Doesnt the rev limiter bother at all? Thats prob. why it wont wheelie. My 155"
LOVES the rear boogies.:D

i try with 154" summit (stock) to do a wheelie on the same place where my 155" D8 do it easy, and nothing happen :)

i think there is something wrong with my wires or rev limiter or with the speed sensor, i dont know but i can hear on the engine there are much more RPM then on the stock engine
