i installed a tra 3 on my mnt cat, so far it works awsome but have discovered that the sheaves are mutiangle on the tra 3. i know a few more guys that are running these on their mods with different secondary's so i can't see it being a problem but does anyone know the theory on the angle change and what i would gain if i changed to a matching secondary.

Dobson Robert phoned me a few times about your clutching . As far as the sheeve angle it starts out at 12 degrees at the bottom and goes to 14 degrees at the top. Skidoo also had a VSA (variable sheeve angle ) on the secondary. The whole purpose was to try and get more belt pressure at the top of the sheeve. Feel free to pm me and I will try to help you out.
