Picked up a burned down 01 800 Mountain cat and it appears that I can swap 900 jugs and heads onto my sled to make it a 900, what do I do about power valves?

Can I use or modify my stock 800 power valves or do I have to buy 900 power valves? Do I also have to buy the controller and servo or can I just swap the valves?

Thanks for any input :)

The valves are different part numbers from the 800 to the 900. You can buy just the valve For $113. I am betting the 800 valve is just built for a small bore. I would try grinding them down so they are the right size for the 900 bore before I go buy t valves at 113 a piece. You could probably buy the valve delete kit from supreme tool for that much money. Or buy there servo block of plug and put your 800 valves in and pin them open.

get the 900 valve the port high on the valve are different between the 900 and the 800 or grind the 8s to match the 900. i think you can just order the valve them selfs.

Shim them under the base 1/16th, grind the 800 valves to fit. just so that you can't feel them when they are all the way down. Put a 3* key way in it and take 0.005 off the heads. This is what I did and it rips !
