My question is how big of a pain in the @$$ would a mountain cat 900 carb with a turbo be (tuning wise)? I am thinking about building the kit myself using a mitsu 14b turbo, which is very similar to a 16g. I would like to run the sled on pump gas so what max boost level could I run? I have 2 small intercoolers sitting around the shop. Would you recommend running one, or not? Thanks

they work good, the carbs are simple and not finacky at all if set up right... TRUST ME! As for pump gas there are alot of variables that come into play but around the 4-6 lb range dependant on elevation, temp, comp ratio, state of tune, actual quality of pump gas and so on.


Intercooler is a waste of time unless your really high boost for long WOT periods of time.

I believe that the wastegate is 7-8 psi. Could I get away with that boost with 94 octane?
