An aluminum Trackshaft with Superlite Brake Rotor is now available from Speed Shop for Arctic Cat and Yamaha snowmobiles. The aluminum Trackshaft and Superlite Brake Rotor Combo is 5.5 lbs. lighter than stock. The trackshaft is a direct replacement for the stock shaft, but 3 lbs. lighter. The Brake rotor is more than 2.5 lbs. lighter than the stock solid brake rotor and 1.5 lbs. lighter than the stock vented brake rotor found on some Sno Pro models.
The shaft is 20 percent stronger than Arctic Cat's stock aluminum M 8000 trackshaft. It is hard-coat anodized, so it even looks like a stock steel shaft.
