We waited for months for the Intermountain Snowmobile Show
and now the show is done for another year. But it sure was fun while it lasted.
We got to see a lot of snowmobiling friends (some we only
get to see once a year at the show), make new ones, see all the 2013 model year
snowmobiles, see a few sleds--mostly those with turbos--that look like the
could climb right over the top of the Wasatch Mountains and even some new
products we hadn't seen before.
It was a great weekend for snowmobilers.

the Utah Snowmobile Association and Allstate Insurance, the Intermountain
Snowmobile Show's attendance was slightly up compared to a year ago. Once
again, the snow show was held at the Salt
Lake County
Events Center
in South Jordan.
On day two of the Intermountain Snowmobile Show we made even
more progress on our latest SnoWest project
sled, which started with a 2013 Arctic Cat M 800 Sno Pro LTD 153. Work will
continue on the project sled at our next snowmobile show, the Idaho Snowmobile
Show in Boise

Seminar (the seminars were sponsored by Klim) topics for the
second day covered how to ride (by Bret Rasmussen), pre-season sled prep (by
Starting Line's Dustin Pancheri), how to choose the best goggle for you (by
Scott USA's Dien Toussaint) and installing sled wraps (by Toyskinz' John
Aguinaga).
Day two's big door prizes were a Klim jacket and new goggles
and a Raptor shock package from Ice Age. Of course, anyone who signs up for a
subscription (or renews their current subscription) at the show was entered in
to win any number of great prizes in SnoWest
Magazine's Twelve Days of SnoWest contest. The grand prize is a new 2013
Ski-Doo Summit and trip to Carl Kuster's riding camp in British Columbia.
