Day Two: Intermountain Snowmobile Show Offered Sleds, Sunshine And Lollipops

News

Okay, the lollipops was bit of a stretch but there was plenty of candy-including suckers-at the various booths at the Intermountain Snowmobile Show in South Jordan, UT, this past weekend.

And we're not just talking candy you could eat. There was all sorts of other eye candy thousands of snowmobile enthusiasts were looking at all Saturday day long. There were new sleds from all the major manufacturers, along with numerous mod sleds, antique and vintage sleds and pieces and parts of sleds spread out throughout the Salt Lake County Events Center. And outside there were a few used sleds looking for a new owner at the swap meet.

Sponsored by SnoWest Magazine and the Utah Snowmobile Association, the Intermountain Snowmobile Show experienced another great day on the second day of the show. Hundreds of people attended the seminars, many sledders walked out with dozens of door prizes, kids and adults had a great time picking and choosing which color and design they wanted on a hat being painted right in front of them at the Klim Hat Booth, several folks watched snowmobiling videos at the 509 Theater on the upper level, many voted for their favorite mod sled in the Western Power Sports/Ultimax Belts mod show as well as their favorite vintage sled in the antique/vintage sled display and dozens more got a free lunch from Arctic Cat, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and threw a lunch party at the snow show. Others got a chance to see what we're doing for our latest SnoWest project sled.

No doubt there was plenty going on at the snow show and those who attended got their snowmobile fix at least until the snow flies.
