Paul Thacker Joins RSI Racing

News

RSI Racing and Slednecks Team Manager Paul Thacker just inked an exclusive sponsorship agreement to use RSI handlebar systems for the 2010-11 season.

Thacker currently holds the world record for the longest distance jump on a snowmobile. He knows jumping a snowmobile over 300 feet requires using only the best equipment. Thacker is now equipped with RSI's 7075 Tapered Handlebars, Pivoting Risers and Hi Power Heated Grips on his Slednecks/Monster Energy Polaris.

"Totally stoked on teaming up with RSI this season," Thacker said. "I am very excited about the product and becoming part of the family. I really like the direction RSI is heading and fully appreciate them bringing me on as part of the big picture."

" We are extremely excited to have Paul a part of the RSI family," Wade Durbin, RSI president/founder, said. "I have watched Paul transition his way from snocross racing to one of the best freeriders in the world. Jumping a snowmobile more than 300 feet requires the best equipment available to ensure a safe jump. At RSI we strive to make the strongest, most comfortable handlebar systems available for your snowmobile and with our products under his hands, Paul can jump well more than 300 feet and feel safe doing it."

Thacker will be competing in the 2011 Winter X Games in multiple events as well as heading up the Slednecks/Monster Energy Invasion Tour.
