People, Parts, & Passion

Published in the January 2009 Issue January 2009 Feature

We have almost as much fun watching people as we do looking at snowmobiles and snowmobile parts at snow shows-almost.

During the Intermountain Snowmobile Show last October in Salt Lake City, UT, and the Spokane Winter Knights Snowmobile & ATV Show in early November in Spokane, WA, we did a lot of both.

One thing we noticed during both shows (as well as at the other shows we've gone to this past fall) was that there is a whole lot of story swappin' going on. Snowmobilers must be some of, if not the, best storytellers anywhere. After all, nearly every snowmobile ride is an event for us. And there's nothing we like to do better than to tell anyone who will listen about how Bob got so stuck that they had to call in the Air National Guard to get his sled out, or how Tom just had to drop down into that drainage to look around. And the stories go on and on.

Here's a look back at people, parts and the passion we have for the sport we love from both the Intermountain and Spokane shows.
