After the Can-Am Spyder RS roadster in 2008 and the Spyder RT model in 2010, BRP is introducing its third model to the lineup: the Can-Am Spyder ST roadster: a sport touring vehicle with the right blend of comfort and sportiness to set it apart from the others. With its sport-touring rider ergonomics, added footboards for more legroom, the same muscular Rotax 991 V-Twin engine and all BRP-renown safety features such as VSS, the Spyder ST roadster is as comfortable and nimble for a quick jaunt around town, as it is on a spirited ride on a favorite country lane or a week-long getaway up the coast. Innovations to the 2013 Can-Am roadster line-up also include the Brembo brake system specifically designed for Can-Am roadsters, a new suspension for better handling and performance and new front fenders with integrated LEDs for refined style and improved aerodynamics. week's star of the Sand Sports Super Show in Powered by a Rotax 1000R V-Twin powerpack that is unrivalled in the side-by-side vehicle market, the new Can-Am Maverick model offers the most powerful engine within the industry and leads its class in torque, acceleration and power-to-weight ratio. The Maverick side-by-side vehicle’s muscular set-up is complemented by a unique, sport- tuned front-and-rear suspension, a rigid frame with a centralized mid-engine layout, advanced ergonomics and a stunning design that make it stand out in a crowd. "The Can-Am Maverick side-by-side vehicle is sure to please the most dedicated hardcore offroad sport enthusiasts with its unmatched and aggressive styling industry-leading performance, both of which unquestionably reflect the Can-Am brand," Chris Dawson, vice-president and general manager, International division, said. Other features of the Maverick sport side-by-side vehicle include: high-flow dynamics, Intelligent Throttle Control (iTC), dual exhaust, continuously variable transmission (CVT) with Zylon reinforced drive belt, a steel frame engineered in way that it offers supreme traction, athletic agility and confidence-inspiring handling while at the same time offering improved rigidity versus the competition. A revolutionary and compact Torsional Trailing A-arms (TTA) independent rear suspension improves traction while also reducing unsprung weight and eliminating bump steer for extremely predictable handling. A strategically designed exterior gives the Maverick side-by-side vehicle its own look, while the innovative and purpose-built performance package rewards owners with unmatched comfort, convenience and safety. The Maverick side-by-side vehicle is made for recreational enjoyment, but also caters to true adventurists with its multi-function rear rack with LinQ system compatibility. BRP also introduced its 2014 Can-Am Maverick MAX 4-seat model, available worldwide next summer. Continuing with surprises, BRP also introduced an all-new Can-Am Outlander 650 X mr ATV, its newest hero for mud-riding enthusiasts. The 650 X mr ATV is every bit as tough and polished as the big-bore 1000 X mr model, but its ability to seamlessly cross over from the mud to the trails adds to its versatility and makes it a whole new breed in the industry.
