Arctic Cat backs Tucker Hibbert in MX
Minnesota’s Tucker Hibbert had a breakthrough weekend at Round 10 of the AMA Toyota Motocross Championship in Millville,
In moto one, Hibbert pulled a top-15 start and held on for 15th place during the 35-minute, 40-rider race. With a mid-pack start in the second moto, he put his head down and steadily pushed forward to finish 12th for 12th overall.
Hibbert knew he would have an allegiance of fans at Spring Creek but was surprised by all the support he received on and off the track. He claimed it was racing in his home state along with the support of his fans that gave him the extra focus he needed for his top MX finish.
In other news, Arctic Cat has announced that Hibbert will pilot a 2009 Sno Pro 600 in the coming ISOC National Snocross Tour. Hibbert, who won gold in the last ESPN Winter X Games Snocross, is excited about competing in the new circuit.
“I’m looking forward to racing in the new ISOC series,” he said. “I’ll be at all the national ISOC races leading up to the Winter X Games. This will be my tenth Winter X competition and at every one of them, I’ve chosen to ride an Arctic Cat. That’s a testament to the quality of Arctic Cat’s Sno Pros and its dedication to winning in the sport. I’m proud to be a Team Arctic rider and hope to lead the way to another winning season.”
“Tucker is one of the best racers to watch; he has a way of making race fans cheer for him who aren’t necessarily Arctic Cat loyalists,” said Mike Kloety, Team Arctic Race manager. “We expect Tucker to do very well, especially with all the changes we’ve made to the Sno Pro 600. This combo should be stronger than anyone has ever seen.”
