Snowest needs to be more careful and not promote scam for sale items.

On Sunday this week one of our snowest member accounts got hacked and the hacker advertised a few tempting parts for sale in the used parts section. Snowest immediately sent these out to all members in an email that we all get “yesterdays most popular topics”. Three of the topics (outlined in the attached pic) were scam for sale accounts. So essentially snowest helped a hacked account scam snowest members by spreading access to everyone. Snowest really needs to do a better job at policing what they send out to members. I’m sure the hacker was very happy that snowest spread the scam adds to everyone.

The one and ONLY reason that that thread made it into the Daily Digest is that SnoWest readers, LIKE YOU, VOTED it there.
That digest is 100% automatic.
Because You Read the thread.
Because You Replied to the thread
Because You Reacted to the thread.

It built up enough points to be selected for inclusion based soley on activity.

No one at SnoWest picks or choses or prioritizes any threads that are listed on the daily digest.

Had you thought it was a SCAM and IMMEDIATELY NOTIFIED any of the 20 or so Moderators on SnoWest, we COULD have instantly deleted it upon your recommendation.
