Do you really need it? I have changed belts without a tool.
Easier without the tool.
Tip sled on its side.
Start top sprocket 1/4” onto splines
Spin belt until bottom splines align.
Lock brake
Lean on the bottom sprocket to stretch belt tight and slip it on the bottom splines.
Slide both sprockets in.

I like it. At least it tensions the belt.
The qd2 has enough slack. Sheetmetals method is how I do it. Done many of them. Takes very little effort especially once belt isn't brand new.

Sounds great. Just thinking if I need to do this while being frozen on mountain the fancy tool would be nice.
Zip ties make things really easy too.
It’s pretty easy without a tool, especially if the belt has a few miles on it

That's how I fixed it. As a bonus you can order a few top gears and play with gearing.
