Adding primary weight

Is there a rule of thumb for lowering RPM's when adding rivets to my drive clutch. (i.e x grams to the toe will lower x amount of rpm.) This MM is turning 9400 rpm w/ triple pipes and I am trying to get down to about 9000. I added alum rivets to both holes and it hardly changed, I am going to use steel ones next.

Thanks

weights

Check the Snowmobile Tech pages at http://www.totallyamaha.com/.
Lots of user setups and information, with pics of different rivets, etc. I will check with my son as he has a chart for 97SX weights based on the elevation your running. Mods change the recommendations, but good baseline. PM me if you want a chart for stock 97SX.

What pipes are you running.
Your revs should be around 8600.
This does vary a bit depending on which pipes you are running.

PSI's, It just happens its not my sled. I am helping a buddy out. I was using SLP specs to get me in the ballpark. They call for 8900-9000. Currently it makes 9400 after I lowered the gears.

with bender pipes, i think i had aluminum in the tip and 13.9 in the heal.should get you close, unless your riding over 7000'. sleds not here, but i may see it tommorrow.
