2000 RMK 700 VR Install

I know there is a lot of the voltage Regulator post in here, but thought I would show some pics of the new updated VR from Polaris and tell you how I did it with help from my good friend SnowDuck.

It comes with two wire plug. A brown wire and yellow wire. I took a knife and split the plug in half. I cut off one of the wires on the old VR that had a male end on it to plug into the brown wire and then put an end on it and wire it with the brown wire on the machine to mounting plate bolt. This is the ground. I then took the yellow wire and plugged it into the plug on the sled. I also used Dielectric Grease on the plug.
Below are pics of the new updated Polaris VR and how mine turned out. This is a sled I bought for the wife and daughter.
