Arctic HCR Tether

The stock Arctic Cat tether on my 2011 HCR quit working. My son fell off, the tether worked fine, killed the engine. After that, the motor wouldn't start. Had to disconnect the tether electrical plug under the hood to get home.

My son says there was a tiny brass screw in the rubber tether cap, and it looks like something is missing in the photo. Whatever it was, it probably ended up in the snow.

Anyone had this problem? Or know of a good solution - like what size and type of screw / pin / stud to use? If you have a similar Arctic Cat, can you post a picture?

Thanks!!

Easiest way to fix the problem. Ditch that one and get a pro design style one. Much better setup and don't have to worry about the end not making a good connection.
