Well, I just weighed my SC Apex today. It has a boss seat, Mtn Tamer rear skid, camo extreme 16 162 2.5 and it came in at 698lbs full of gas and ready to ride. It doesn't feel that heavy though

Combined him and the apex he does weigh 1000, but I follow him around a lot and he really doesn't get stuck too often. On the other hand my sc rx1 weighs 670 and feels like 1000 at times.

I had my turbo Rx1 down to 615 with the small front mount tank full of fuel but that took a few years to get to. If you pack a 5'er on the back at least you can throw it off some place along the way.
