Which CDI box has a hotter timing curve in the mid range ?
A ZR800 low altitude box or the M/Cat 900 Box ?
I understand the M/Cat box has the same timing as a ZR900 untill 6500rpm. Thats when the timing advances 2.5 degrees.
The ZR800 CDI is hotter throughout the complete curve then the ZR900 box.
I'm I correct with this observation ?

I thought that the 03 900 Mtn. cat curve was one of the hottest timing curves out there? With the lean spot in the mid, Won't the 800 if it has more timing in that range make matters worse? But it would benefit a 975cc or above as it would need more timing for a complete burn. Hope someone can answer this?

I understand the M/C box is the same timing as the zr9 until 6000rpm. That is when the box advances 2.5 degrees more than the ZR9 box. The M/C box would have less advance on the lower end the a ZR800 box. That means the M/C box is a better box to run w/twin pipes @ 500'/1000' elevations
Can anyone confirm ?
