I know this has been talked about but i was wondering why mine are so soft. They have alot of miles on them so they probably need to be rebuilt. When i turn it just likes to lean alot. What route should i go for new shocks?

Are they the airs? They need to be rebuilt once a year. Tri City has had pretty good results putting regular coil over walker evans on the front of the dragons.

carls charged me like $200 to service and recharge them. they are not much better than they were before. 2800 miles on them and they are pretty much junk.

I would just call around and start lining up pricing for different shocks. Fox Zero Pros or Floats, etc... IMO Walker Airs are the worst engineered part(s) on the new Polaris'. I've seen some Fox coilovers for $4-500 brand new. I guess you could have my Walker Airs for $50 if you keep yours and want an extra set ;) Shop around you'll find some good deals

Give Curt at Fastrax a call before you give up on them. He has some tricks up his sleeve. Yes they will still need to be rebuilt fairly often.

Walker will do them for good price and Fabcraft has a good price as well. I hear Fastrax work well but you will pay little more than with Walker or Fabcraft.

K I think I must have a weird situation, I sent mine directly to Walker Evans ( just the fronts) cause my sled was sitting 2 in up on the right side and maybe 4 on the left when I pulled it out storage, They said one needed to be rebuilt and the other just needed to be recharged. Rebuilt the one charged them both to the specs I wanted and ...... Just charged me shipping. Turn around was 4 days from them getting them to shipping them. Spent 24$ on shipping. Now I really like these shocks.

the fastrax setup is more money because it is a complete valve stack replacement, not just a recharge. its worth the money but will never be as good as a spring setup. I'm more of a zbroz shock guy myself, ya there pricey but why punish yourself to save a couple bucks.

I dont have alot of money to spend on new shocks or what not right now so i think i will live with the crap shocks for now

Take them off and bring them to your dealer. They will check them and recharge them for you and if you wine a little about how big a piece of crap they are they may just do it for nothing. Otherwise it's like $60. That should get you through this year as cheap as possible then you can decide what to do for next year. I WILL NEVER BUY A SLED WITH THESE AGAIN! Just had to get that out again.

Its twice as much at Fastrax for apparently the same thing from Fabcraft though. I got new pistons, valve stack, and re-charge on both for the price it would cost to do one at Fastrax. I also have the chambers and I think for the same price Fastrax charges for non chambered WE you can get the chambers as well from Fabcraft. I wish I could ride 2 identical sleds with the different front end jobs to compare but don't have the luxury. I know the M-80 sled has a Fabcraft rear suspension with WE and the chambers and apparently it worked very well. I just letting the guy know his options. I know Curt does great work at his shop and hear nothing but good things.
