on the last ride i really liked the way my sled delivered...but on the way down I managed to flip it over backwards climbing a cornice...damn ice layer!!! anyway

a bit after that cruising down the road at 1/3 throttle or so i tried accelerating and it just falls on its face really badly. stutters and hesitates very bad and will not gain RPM.

i checked:

no damage from the roll over
the lights are all working correctly
the clutches = ok no broken springs or worn weights or cracked spider
compression = 120 and 122 with my gage
fuel pressure = 42 psi
new plugs all 4
blew out the TSS (on the bars)
changed the throttle safety switch and calibrated it
the power valve solenoid is moving at the correct RPM = startup check at 4800, mid open 6000-6500 full open 7000
used a bore scope the reeds look great.

I reved the engine with no belt on and it still does it. at WOT it stays at 6000 RPM and hesitates and stutters really bad.

Put my ECU on another sled and it worked fine
changed out my power valve solenoid/motor
checked all electrical connections and applied dielectric grease.
unplugged my bars/controls by the large connector by the steering post.
unplugged the speedo/gage
inkectors are squirting great

any ideas?

how can i check timing?

it idles and revs normal

at WOT it stays at 6000RPM and hesitates and stutters really bad.

any help is appreciated!!!!

thanks
spomey

Do pv called move freely, are the opening pv

Check fuse

Does it maintain fuel pressure, 42 is on low side,

Look inside y pipe at pistons for damage.

Unplug tail light wires by brake rotor.

Test temp sensor, air intake sensor, pipe sensor

Make sure barometer tube is clear and unrestricted.

Plug wires , caps

Check smart valves, maybe stuck, you can reach in tank and push on them they should pop in and out.

Dirty injectors?

Ground wires

Something to start with

Just because the pv solenoid is moving does not mean the cables or valves are ok. un hook the cables get a good look at them and the valves
